400 vs 383 intake

Would an intake from a 400 have better flow than one from a 383, or are they likely the same part?

very similar I assume you are talking about stock intakes , most 383 intakes had the square bore bolt pattern which works well with Holley carbs which most prefer , the 400 used the ThermoQuad spread bore bolt pattern which is less desirable as far as using aftermarket carbs

I read somewhere that the spreadbore intake flowed a bit better but who knows.
