I wonder why your having issues when there are literally thousands of sets of TTI headers out in circulation that don't have any issues...

Something not right with the motor mounts?  :notsure:

Typically the only mods needed for automatic  shift linkage is for either column shift linkage or 70 only shift interlock linkage which was the linkage that requires the shifter be in part to remove the key.... The area where you are having issues generally has zero issues...

Most 70 Shift interlock linkages were removed & tossed in the trash 40+ years ago so headers would fit...  Now the stuff is reproduced but for years it was very hard to find...

I thought it was common with 3 1/2" collectors.  I had to flip the swivel over to clear the flange.  The idea of making the rod length adjustable has a lot of merit in my mind.  the adjustment is sensitive once the swivel has been reversed..at least mine is.

Yes, exactly. I'm going to use 5/16 partially threaded rod with these at both ends, one right hand thread and the other left hand. This will allow length adjustment by rotating the rod. This floor shift setup is from a doner car and the appears previously modified. I can restore the actuation to minimize resistance or potential binding. Parts on order.

FYI QA1 is supplying them now...?

also in quick disconnect.

Seriously, nothing on the build has been straight forward.

I'll throw this out there, double check it's the right part.
I was banging my head on a wall for a week trying to get my TTI headpipe to clear the shift linkage.
Turns out they sent an A-body part and it would have never worked.
Once I got the right E-body part it all went together.
