A/C Heater Water Control Valve W/ Pics

Hey guys,

In putting the Challenger back together I decided to go with he more reliable A/C heater water control valve.  Not the plastic one that tends to crack.  However, since they don't match up exactly I'm not certain how to hook up the cable. 

Does anyone have any pictures of theirs hooked up with the newer valve that you can show me or some type of illustration?  Thanks

1st thing I'd do is pull the self-adjuster and cable retainer clips off the old valve and make them work with the new valve.  That throttle cable style mount you have for the temp cable doesn't look like it will hold up, and you need that black clip self adjuster clip off of the pin of the old one to attach the cable.

Next thing, once you have the cable working would be to see if it matches hot and cold on your controller lever position.  It might be backwards.  if it is, that is a harder fix.
