Interesting article about LSA

My first choice was Whiplash. But 107° LSA.....

I'm really wondering if I'm going to take the summit one. This makes it much easier for me to pay shipping costs to France.

I hesitate between the 703 or the 704 (voodoo of course) :thinking:    with stock rocker, HP manifold,  2355 pistons and hughes 2400 stall torque converter  :bradsthumb:

Hello guys !

The voodoo 703 it's in production.

on the Lunati website it says : Makes un-equaled power to 6200 RPM with proper valve springs

I managed to find 2 spring references in their catalog


73100-16 and "upgrade" : 74820-16 ( BEEHIVE )


this means I need the second part number for the 6200RPM ?

It's OK for stock rocker ?


About connecting rods and pistons, I've changed my mind and bought a set of platinum pistons and forged 440-source connecting rods.

I would use the second spring [beehive] they are far more stable .
generally 6000 rpm is ok on stack rockers , if they are not badly worn , , I would recommend bronze bushed stainless rockers as an upgrade if you decide to to that .

The seat pressure is more important than the first spring, it's ok for break in the cam ?

Break in is always a crap shoot , use good oil , start it one time if possible & le it run at 2k for 20 mins , don't rev it up

With the stock rockers, will I lose a lot of lift?

The stock rockers are not as accurate in the 1.5 ratio as other rockers "should be"
For street use I do not use alum or rockers with roller brgs on the rocker shaft , I only use rockers that are bronze bushed on the rocker shaft as this give a far greater surface area & lean towards Stainless steel roller tip rockers for durability .
When using any aftermarket rocker DO NOT overtorque the rocker shaft to the head , if the shaft becomes oval the rocker can seize holding a valve open which can break the piston & cause the whole engine to end up as Junk [ the intake should survive!] I have seen this in person .
