Is there anyone here that is running an air to air intercooler in their E-Body? If so can you post pics of it. How things are routed?

Best of luck, I've looked at trying to package one, but the space between my condenser and grille is nonexistent. I'd look at spacing my radiator off of the support a good 2-3" back toward the engine [3gen hemi] to get some room up there.

Research prochargers old p600b supercharger setup. I ran one on a mustang. The ic lays horizontal under the car and there is a scoop under the car that feeds it air.   It would be easy to duplicate.

What is the application here? Drag race? Street use? How much boost? How much are you going to be beating on the car? I have other ideas depending on your use.

Ram air system.
1.5% power increase for every 10 degrees you lower air temp into the carb.
So, lower air temp 50 degrees, compared to engine compartment, and that's
a 7.5% power increase. On a 600 hp engine, thats 45 hp!

Interesting, but I'd think you'll need to do something more radical to get a 50deg drop in temp.

50 degrees would be easy in my opinion.  In summer, under hood temp could be easily more than 50 degrees above,
compared to outside air temp in front of car. Especially when you have high horsepower, and headers, etc. I have big
2 inch headers. Would think you could see temps above 150, especially when you have air coming through a radiator
where the water temp is above 200F. Your standard 3 in by 14 inch open air cleaner, under the hood, would be sucking
a lot of hot air.

Ive hit my headers at idle with a temp gun, and I recall a temp of 425F

Would be easy to measure under hood temps, while driving, with one of those little cheap remote
outdoor thermometers from Walmart that have a 5 ft probe on them.

This guy is running a power adder im sure. So the compression of the air is creating heat that needs to be cooled prior to getting into the engine.  A cold air intake won't do much for that. Air to air would be easy enough.  But depending on his use, air to water with a heat exchanger up front may work or even just water meth injection. I ran an 88mm turbo on a 336 ci motor at 27 psi and made 1200 hp using only meth injection as my intercooler and peak intake charge temps were 125 degrees at the top of a 1/4 mile pull at 7000 rpm . ran 8.90s at 162mph.  Meth works great.  Curious what this guys use is.

Yep not running yet but all is mounted. Dual set for dual turbos. Zero cutting of factory body sheetmetal.
Pulling radiator off core support was only possible because of Magnum accessories.
A/c condenser is also sandwiched in between..

Sory Guys been getting caught up in life. That setup under the car with a scoop is a good idea. Since I have the ar back now I can start looking inot more. I'm running an F1R and have a meth inj system but I figured the heat in Florida would need a little more. Plus if the meth pump takes a dump while going down the track I'm in trouble. This is mostly a street car for now.
