Alternative Air Breather for Shaker

I am sure this has been discussed somewhere in the forum but I am not able to find it. I have a 1971 Barracuda (originally a 318 car) that I am building up similar to a Pro-Tour style car and I am doing the Shaker setup but wanted a air breather system that would allow the motor to breathe better than the factory type air breather  and I am trying to see what other people are doing to improve air flow.

Not much you can do , we dyno tested a Hemi & the biggest restriction in the shaker hood was get this the openings into the shaker bubble , removing the grilles helped a little but the openings are really to small to feed enough air , nothing below the shaker scoop was as restrictive in stock form .
