I have a chance to buy some 906 heads for the 383 / stroker.  They have the 2.14 intake and 1.81 exhaust valves.  Does anyone know if these do or do not work with the 383 bore?  I do not know a lot yet on the Mopar stuff and don't want to buy these and find out they don't work for me.
Thanks

Looks like the Stealth heads that some have recommended and the Edelbrock heads both come with this same size valves.

They'll work...    Standard bore is 4.25, your probably .030 over @ 4.28 which is only .040 smaller than a std 440 bore...   And that is only .020 per side...

Bore is the same as a 426 Max Wedge which used those valve sizes albeit with a slight bore notch. I would run them. Those heads (probably also have slight porting) will probably feed that stroked 383 just fine. It's kind of like a stock size 440.

And thats the other thing, notching the bore is a quick simple operation that would un-shroud the valve...

The 906 heads are open chamber heads so no possibility of quench which is a big downside IMO
they would have to be cheap for me to think of using them
