Would anybody know the correct drive shaft for a 340 Cuda with an A727 Automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear end?  Or the measurements? The 8 3/4 was replaced with the Dana 60.  Thank you in advance.

Looking in the parts manual, a 'Cuda with a 9 3/4 the drive shaft is one inch shorter vs the 8 3/4.
Cuda with Dana 60 = 42.6" with 3 1/4 "dia. and 7290 yokes, Part no. 2883775

Some one else want to check me on this?

Thank you.  That's a start. I'll have to do some more research with this information and see what I come up with.  Searching this information it kind of showed they are hard to come by.  Thanks again.

Any Cuda with a 727 and a Dana will be the same, the size of the engine doesn't matter.

If you can live with being a tenth of an inch short, 42.5" driveshafts are pretty easy to find ready-made. Same thing goes for 44.5" driveshafts for a Challenger with a Dana.
