Correct pinion angle with ESPO leaf springs

Hi Guys

Could you tell me what is the correct pinion angle for a 8 3/4 with +1" ESPO leaf springs?

This is what is in my Mopar Chassis  book...

Keep in mind the values in the MP chassis manual are race oriented and if it's a street car you want to error on the low side of the angles.. IMO if you go 7-10 you might have some issues with highway cruising under light load...

You starting from scratch?
No need to change factory set-up when changing leaf springs by 1.5"

No.
Engine/Transmission/Rear end/driveshaft/leaf springs are just rebuilt or new.
During my first road test  for carburetor tuning, i noticed a very light sound at cruising speed like a bad pinion angle.

Tomorrow i will receive the tools to take the angles measurements.

It's a good idea to check them for sure. I'm sure you know you can buy pinion angle shims if it needs adjusting.

Dont know if it helps but Tremec has a free app for your phone for driveline angle. Tremec toolbox is the app name.

Never hurts to check, but I think the stock set-up is very forgiving and works.
I'd be looking elsewhere, tires, rim, balancing, suspension play.
I had a vibration and based on all the advice to change pinion angle I made changes +/- 3 degrees for a total of 6 degrees change with no difference at all.
I eventually found my problem, good luck.

Best pinion nose down a few derees so under load it rises to a level position to te drivesaft

Had a vibration, turned out to be drive shaft was too short. Transmission yoke was only engaged about 3/4"

My driveshaft is brand new. 3.5" aluminium with 1350 yoke made by inlande empire driveline, so i guess it is ok.

It may also be my tires indeed. They look good but the car stayed on the floor for almost 1 1/2 year.. they may be flat at one point.
I have 4 new tires ready to mount
