Hey guys I've installed my new Edelbrock intake and I have a question.  On the two ports I've circled in red are they vacuum or coolant?  Thanks

Dave

1974 Cuda. 360 / A500 OD.  Yes its pink, no its not my wife's car!  Yes I drive it.

Look like vacuum to me. If they open into the intake runners, (and appear they do) they are vacuum. Water passage openings would be in the front.

Thanks what size nipple do I get for the brake or PCV hoses?  Thanks

Chryco Psycho

11/32 for the brakes , 3/8 for the PCV , I use 3/8 for both

Chryco Psycho

Brakes can be run from the intake runner .
It is best to run the PCV into the base of the carb so the fumes are distributed to all cylinders though  :alan2cents:

This is correct!! Seen this SO MANY times! Hooking the pvc to either of the circled holes will also cause a lean miss on the cylinder fed by that runner that's hard to identify.  :alan2cents:  jt
"Yeah, it's hopped up to over 160........"
