Here are pics of the engine and transmission that was in my 1970 V code Cuda when purchased in 1983.
Seller informed me, it was not the original engine and transmission, but put it back as close as possible from a wrecked vehicle.

I am curious if the pics provided will be enough to confirm the vehicle I was told it came from.  I will provide what I was told later.

Thanks,

To me it looks like that engine and trans came from different cars. :alan2cents:

What I was told, the engine and transmission came from a 1970 Challenger V code.
I do know that the harmonic balancer and the rods are six pack rods.
The cam is three bolt.  The transmission is 18 spline.  The interesting thing is the intake.
Factory Edelbrock aluminum intake.  Seeing the block is dated 1-28-70, I doubt it came with the Edelbrock.

What say the experts?  I have always been curious.
