Hi all,

Before I send these out for rebuild (suggestions on east coast source also appreciated)

Can someone identify that they are correct for 440/6 engine, I am second guessing myself.

Counted 130 teeth   old clutch is 11"  diameter.

Thanks for help!

That looks to be the correct stuff, most likely get away with machining the flywheel a just get a new clutch set up. Is your transmission a 18 spline or 23 spline ? Should be 18.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Thank you Alan, that's good news!

Yes 18 spline trans, its numbers matching so I don't need to question myself on that one.

I was thinking of having Plate resurfaced and have pressure plate rebuilt (new springs and resurfaced )   sound good?  or should just buy new pressure plate?

I've always used new parts in these situations.  Resurfacing the flywheel is good, but why not just use a new pressure plate and clutch disc?  I'm sure if you have someone you trust to rebuild them they will work fine.

That looks correct. You could check on having the PP rebuilt. Mcleod doesn't sell new ones that style anymore.

I would stay witht he 3 finger type , they are getting hard to source now though , rebuilding might actually be a good option

Thanks!

Passon said they rebuild; test springs, resurface, etc.  I asked if they blast and paint the housing, but I guess they were unpainted from factory ?    I will up-date once parts come back.

:lurking:  I'm excited to hear how this turns out for ya.  Pretty cool that you can still get those old parts reconditioned and back to good working shape.

Brewers is now recommending RAM manufactured Borg&Beck style three finger clutch.
I just bought three of them at Carlisle

This is the same set up Jamie from Passon sent with my 833 OD in March, so it seems both Brewers and Passon are going with RAM 3-finger set ups.
