Help identify my 833 4 speed transmission

Anyone have an idea what this transmission is out of

it is out of a '71 Plymouth B-body assembled at the St. Louis assembly plant - 1G179658 - Scheduled mid-February 1971

PP833 = New Process 4-speed manual transmission
3114 = transmission assembly date - Thursday 2/5/70
055 = unit number - 55th transmission assembled that day

are the numbers all clear?  not unheard of, but that date is awful early for that VIN at a year +
do you know if it is a 23 or 18-spline transmission?
