I think I want a hydraulic clutch in the car I'm building. They seem simple enough. Are they pretty much all the same or is one brand better in our Mopars? I don't know if it matters but my hope is to get one of the five speed Passon units.

I don't know if they are all the same but you can't just throw one on. They have to fit the bearing retainer and have a certain distance between the fingers of the pressure plate and bearing. Check with Passon if that's what you're planning to use.

I have used both McLeod & Tilton , I prefer the McLeod , not sure what other brands you may be looking at .

I probably didn't ask that as well as I could have. I only meant are all the various suppliers equally good on a product like this. I was looking at an American Powertrain unit but it's quite a bit higher than everyone else. I'll check out the McLeod unit.

American Powertrain uses Tilton I believe but I could be mistaken ., I found the Mcleod unit was easier to adjust

I must be looking in the wrong places because I can't find anything on a McLeod kit for the e body cars. I find stuff for GM and Ford and evening the company website doesn't show it. I found one kit on eBay but it looks a little cheesy and one of the stock photos is for a GM setup. Some of the kits for GM did look nice though.

I would call McLeod directly & ask for a part #
