Happy New Year everyone,
I'm in the process of installing and FiTech fuel injection system on my 70 Challenger with a 383 in it. My current problem is that plug above the original temperature sensor is not coming out. I have soaked it in WD40, tried removing it with a breaker bar, impact wrench and heat. Have also tried the mentioned procedures mixed together. It's not moving. So do any of you guys have any suggestions on what to try next or any other locations on the block to look for another opening for the sensor.
At this point the plug is starting to round out a bit where you insert the socket so I want to be careful now.
Thanks

I assume it is a big block , You can try melting wax around it with heat , hammering down on it can shake it loose , Brad is the expert & removing stuck or broken plugs .
You could drill through it & tap new threads either smaller or the same size also .

I had same problem on my small block install.
Galvanic corrosion, no way that plug is coming out.
My radiator had a plug I was able to remove and put sensor there.

:iagree:  See if you can just use a plug in your radiator.
