I'm not doing anything radical to the 340, eventually I'll end up with a 3rd Gen Hemi.

Hey!  :alan2cents: I don't know about the kit, but i've put an AX15 behind my tuned 318, you just need to build a new crossmember and drill a hole in the floor for the "joy stick"

I don't know if you have big mods on your 340 but the AX15 is certainly not made for big HP! (apparently)

I went with the Silver Sport TKO 600 Auto to Manual complete kit with the hydraulic clutch. No issues, car is a blast to drive!

They discontinued the TKO..
Its no longer an option.

If you're planning on going to 6.4 why not buy wrecked Challenger with 6-speed and engine and swap it in one shot?

Also that ar5 is a couple hundred bucks used, so you can use it as a placeholder until you're ready to do the whole drivetrain swap.

Personally I'm looking into a tkx swap.... but I have a big block

I don't want to chop the hell out of the floor.
Full drop out on average with under 50k is around $12,000

I can do it in stages this way and drive on the 340 in the meanwhile.
Still on the fence of building the 340, stroking it and EFI or find a truck 6.4 and add the car accessories to it for a fraction of the cost.

Thats the AX15 in the dakota V6 but you can use the R154 (which is moooore stronger) with the V6 bellhousing from the dakota
