Mopar Performance kickdown lever

Has anyone installed one of these MP kickdown levers and if so what was the effect... suitable for street driving... ok as stand alone mod?  Catalog says for Hemi w/727 or 904 so I am wondering why (only) Hemi.

Any idea what the ratio is on the stock lever?  It's a '72 340.

For a street car I prefer the 3.8 or the 4.2..... 5.0 doesn't release as well so it's more prone to shift overlap...

I know this is a old conversation but now that my transmission is apart for a rebuild (no shift kit though) with all new wearing parts including discs and and a Kevlar band, I am told it has a 3.2 ratio apply lever.  I have not found new 3.8 levers for retail, only 4.2 and 5.0 ratios.  Maybe they were factory only??   Sounds like the 5.0 is wrong for my tad bit over stock 340 but  if I were to opt for a 4.2 lever would I note much difference over the 3.2, or is it a waste of time and money??

It should make the shift a little crisper. Honestly I have never taken out a transmission, removed the 3.2 and installed the 4.2 and not made any other changes so I can't tell you for sure if you'll notice it. I've always swapped the levers and replaced burnt up bands and steels at the same time so of course those results were noticeable.

Everything you mentioned is being done as well so maybe I will never know if it made a difference.  Have not driven the car in over 10 years so forget how it was but "snappy" up shifting for sure not.
