I have a 1974 Barracuda with a 440 in it from a 1970 Chrysler 300.  I need replacement radiator hoses, but the parts stores can't seem to find anything that fits.  I think part of the problem may be that the radiator tanks are original to the car.
(22" radiator that has been converted to a 4 core).

Has anyone on the forum had similar problems finding hoses that fit.  What was the solution?  The parts store wants to sell me the accordion style universal hoses, and I would rather find something that is preformed if possible.

thanks in advance for your responses!

I have a 4 row 22 inch radiator. I bought my hoses from year one.....

383 Cudas came with 22" rads as well so the hoses should be no problem whatsoever UNLESS you never changed the outlets on the rad, big block is opposite of small block.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

My 70 383 has a 26" three core. The hose that was on it was a "fit-all". I tried using what the factory called for but it wouldn't fit for some reason. I found that one for a Roadrunner did fit. Now idea why, but I wasn't going to argue.

Btw, the three core was shot, so a local radiator shop was able to put my top and bottom on a 4 core.  :D
