What is the best choice for radiator hoses if I don't care about date codes and part numbers being printed on them?  The challenge is that most of the generic ones I have looked at from Advance Auto, Oreilly's, or Summit do not make the distinction between 22 and 26" radiators.  Our car was born with a 22" radiator, but we changed to a 26.

While standing to be corrected, to the best of my knowledge, there is no difference in diameter for any variation of rad core size. Buy a Gates or other good brand and drive on.

Top hoses are different 22 to 26. 26 goes to right side, 22 goes to left. On a 70-71 anyway, except if it's a smallblock.

If you updated to a 26" radiator from a 22", can you simply say it has AC so that it goes to a 26" radiator? Rockauto shows difference between AC and non AC.
