This is on an 83 Dodge W150 truck. I'm looking for the U joints that go in the transfer case end of the forward driveshaft. It's a CV joint so there is two of them. We've looked everywhere and tried several but cannot come up with the right ones. Does anybody know of a driveline company that might be able to set me up with the correct ones? We have the little ball(?) joint that goes in the middle between them.

Double cardon not CV...but parts stores will usually sell the whole assy instead of the joints...about $600 though. :o

@dodj Thanks for the clarification on that. You can see in the first picture that the groove for the retaining clip is more outward on the cap and not on the inside like almost every joint on the planet.

1 piece shaft... (rear)
131 wheel base ?

I'm guessing... a #7290   but more info is better

This is the shaft from the transfer case to the front axle. Don't know what engine was originally married to that chassis. Single cab with 8' box, not sure what that makes the wheel base without measuring it.
