As I assemble my finished NM 440, I'm looking into buying water pump and power steering belts. The price is wildly different between Year One and Classic industries. Are there any others? Any warnings with any of them?

I've heard that the quanta belts stretch. I bought them for my 70 Hemi and they didn't fit right...ended up putting Napa belts on for now since they actually fit

Is there more then one company making them ? I thought Quanta was the only game it town ?

a friend complained at carlisle about quanta belts and was told they never thouight anyone would put them on anything but trailer queens

The only thing I found is that they stretch...when they do you just tighten them again...and then again  :dunno:

So I'm guessing just go to an auto parts store and get a brand like Gates?
