Pick up tube or pan issue???

So do have the wrong pan or pick up tube for a 71 340? The pan came with the car but was in the trunk. I also got a deep oil pan it was in the trunk to. The deep pan was rusty and the pick up tube I removed was for a deep pan but I wanted to go back with the factory look. I figured the shallow pan was factory part. The pump and tube I got is from  Melling and supposed to be correct. So when looking on line there seems to be a 100 different tubes and they all say correct. WTH !!! suggestions please. Thanks

Nevermind I figured it out it's the wrong pan the right pan should have the  square notches with holes for the seal at both ends. When you lay the seals on the pan one end fits correctly and the other seal sticks above the pan an inch on each side. I've already ordered a new pan.
