Any hydraulic shop should be able to crimp new hose onto the original ends.  The hose may not look like a factory hose but you'd at least have a new hose that fits.

I've tried that route.  The shop I went to which specializes in making hoses for construction equipment refused to touch it because it was a mass produced automotive hose.  I guess a 73 340 is too much liability versus million dollar cat's and komatsu's!

I remember being told that it was illegal to make a power steering hi pressure hose at a parts store, in New York anyway.  :foul:

Federal Track Pak & Super Track pak
Yup pretty rare now.

This is proven hose.

Won't swell and come off.

Currently using this myself.
Cut to length needed.

Thanks Topcat.  Unfortunately that's not the one I'm after.  I'm looking for the pressure feed hose.

Unobtanium... Been looking for eons it seems.

There is no accurate repro I've ever come across...yet.

Yeah that is what I'm afraid of.  mine is pretty worn!

I've been looking for a pressure hose for my HEMI recreation with federal pump and power steering cooler for over a year now. No luck yet.

This is the one in particular I'm referencing about.

Does anyone have an old one we could use to get one made up at a shop?

Looks good to me.  I believe that should work on the small block as well.

Can you give more details on the ebay purchase? Is there more than 1 available?

@6pack Any chance you could give more info on the pressure line you found on ebay?
