Hey folks,

I am in the process of installing a hydro boost set up in my cuda and instead of teeing the returns line together,  I want to add a second return line to the pump.  In short I want to drill a hole a the top and add a bulkhead fitting.

I have the style of pump pictured below, are these rare or year specific?

I was thinking the tear drop style (Later?) would be easier to add the fitting to, but, I don't have one of those.

Anyone know where I can pick one up cheaply, or do I just drill out the one I have?

The later style reservoirs are a dime a dozen.  I'd look for one of those.  Even when the pumps went metric, the reservoirs stayed the same.  You should be able to find one fairly easily.

I have 2 of those pumps you can have both

Curious, why do you not want to use a T on the low pressure return line?

@Filthy Filbert I have read that there is a possibility of feedback or a pulsation if you T the return lines.  So why not prevent the issue ahead of time.

Chryco Psycho

Personally I would just use a Y fitting so the return has a direction towards the pump .

Hey @Chryco Psycho , I guess it can not hurt to give that a try.  :notsure: Maybe a little less time involved and I do not need to pull the pump off.

Given the warm weather is quickly approaching,  I would like to get this done sooner rather them later.
