 Hey all,
I'm looking for a quality replacement tank for my '71 Challenger (4 vent lines).
Car developed a leak at the sending unit flange, so I bought a better lock ring and gasket (Bill Rollik). But now that I opened the "can-o-worms" 🙄 there appear to be issues with the tank.
It's a repro tank, but the "well" the sending unit/pickup flange sits in , is not centered in relation to the welded locking ring. The gasket is too big, and the Rollik lock ring/nut is small compared to the tabs. The lock nut only catches about .030-.050 of the tabs "IF" I'm able to keep it "perfectly" centered.
So, I may be able to get it to seal, but I would like to replace the tank since it will bug me that it's H/A'ed.
Thanks - Rick

I think the only way to go is Spectra.  I used a Spectra on my '71 and it's fine, no problems it is just like OE.
I see Rock Auto has them listed for $159 and we generally have a 5% off code here on the site you can use to save a few bucks.

I second the spectra tank.  Looks just like my original.
