@FSHTAIL Any news or pics on your Tremec TKX installation?   I'm really curious (and a little envious) about your installation. :stayinlane:

Got it up and going three weekends ago.

Few things I wasn't impressed about.
There's a bracket that comes off of the new crossmember that is supposed to use the hook to hold the parking brake cable away from the driveline, that is simply not long enough, so I just welded the hook to that bracket to extend it further to where it needed to be.

The kit put the shifter right in the sweet spot, not off one bit.
I took before measurements to verify.

The stock Hurst pistol grip shifter bolted directly to the transmission.

The transmission has a little bit shorter of throws, it almost feels like it's gated with how precise it is.

I did not get the close ratio, I got the other ratio, 5th gear is amazing
Doing 75 I think I'm only at 2100 RPM.

In 2020 I went to Stillwater on a full tank of gas and back for Mopars in the park, I used 3/8 of a tank, this year I drove it there and only used 1/8

And these current times, this could literally pay for itself in fuel economy in the next few years. 🤣😂

Ground clearance really isn't an issue.   I'll bottom out on my header flanges before anything else.   Hooker super comps.

Good job.

Those headers are ridiculously low though.
