Valve Springs 340 vs 360

I pulled the springs off my 360 and compared them to a set I have off 340 x heads. I was surprised at the differences.

Not the height, but also the size of the wire and number of coils.

The 360 really was never a performance engine .

340 was designed to rev. 360 was not. More cam and rpm. More spring.
