I strategically dented my TTIs to get what I needed out of them, there's been testing to show there's no measurable performance difference when doing that.

I remember reading through a test where they progressively dented every tube to an alarming degree. Performance never suffered.

I would try HP2's suggestion first with motor mount shifting/shims to see if you could open up more clearance. Then dent if needed. Then if the dent bothers you, remove that header and bring to a fabricator to modify.
