I have a new motor I need to brake in and I don't want to risk messing up my new Dougs headers. I was looking for something cheap to use during break in. I didn't find anything used in my area so was looking at some of the cheapest headers I could find. I found these flowtech headers on summit for $213.

Not sure if anyone has used these and had any thoughts about fitment for initial engine break in? Or have any other options?

HP2

The most generic small block design out there that are guaranteed to fit nearly any chassis configuration. They have been sold for decades under a wide range of manufacturers names. They are suitable for everyday use including engine break-in, test fitting, daily use, and racing applications. They do have two tubes that wrap around the center link on the driver's side set, so they require disassembly of the left tie-rod/centerlink connection to install and remove. Passenger side has adequate clearance for the oil filter without requiring the angle adapter.

Awesome, thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do the steering but oh well.
