Single Exhaust E Body Rear Bracket Question

Is this the correct bracket for a single exhaust E Body near the differential?

I wouldn't think so....but I could be wrong. Why wouldn't it be the loop type like on dual exhaust cars ?

I've got 2 of them.
Had them for many years. 

Both with the letter E on them.

The hangers you have pictured are universal muffler shop hangers.
