Just tried it before this post and it worked AOK.

(edit) - but not as fast as "unread posts", in my case anyway.

 :iagree:  It's hit and miss for me too.  The hosting company had a crash of the server on 6-12-2019.  They rebuilt the database and that's when this issue started happening.  They tell me it's fixed, but I keep telling them it's not.

Sorry to say it seems to be hit or miss for me.
Sometimes is okay and sometimes I abort and click on "...unread posts...".

 :iagree:  I keep telling the hosting company it's not working sometimes and other times it works, but they test it and come back to say "everything is working fine".   :pullinghair:   :verymad:   :headbang:
