It's the dreaded (for me) Girl Scout cookies time again.  I have three daughters so my wife has been really involved with the girl scouts. They are all grown now, so it's my grand daughters turn. She's nine. Here in Boise for the past 3 or 4 days the weather has been pretty nice--around 50* but yesterday it was 61*. And cookie delivery day. My wife is the cookie mom for a couple troops so my house becomes the distribution point for them. I used to put them all in a spare room DOWNSTAIRS but moving 500 + cases up and down got old real fast. So now I push the cuda to the front of the garage and pile them behind it. As I went to the garage to move my car I decided to fire it up. It had not been started since I put it away for the winter. As it was warming up---the only logical thing to do was back it out and go for a spin. First run of the year.  Short cruise tho--- as I had to go and pick up those darn cookies. Put it back in the garage up against the bench and proceeded to bury it with 450 cases of cookies again where it shall remain trapped for the next 3-4 weeks. OH Well, the weather is supposed to get cold again next week with highs only in mid 30's . Spring fever was short lived. As I was running around yesterday enjoying the great day the first thing I noticed that spring fever was here was the number of motorcycle riders out. Must of seen 30 or more bikes running around. Those guys are nuttier than us car guys.  So go out and support those darn girl scouts and buy some cookies.        :ohyeah:

Our dining room is where we put all the cookie case boxes.  Don't try the new Adventurefuls.  Super addictive.  We have burned trough a good $60 worth in our house.  It's too easy to open another box when the dining room is full of them.  On the plus side, my daughter has sold around 500 boxes this season.  Good luck!

In my world, there is no such thing as a partial box of GS cookies.  An open box almost immediately becomes an empty one.  I'd like to think I'm helping a community organization when I buy them but in reality I'm feeding a sugar addiction... and happily so.

I would be worried about mice getting in to them, they can smell that kind of stuff.  :o

I feel your pain.   As a Boy Scout leader, I've had my living room filled with cases and cases of popcorn!

A previous boss of mine started selling his Daughters girl scout cookies at work.
His daughter was one of the top sales girls. In reality, my boss was doing all the selling work.    :D

Edit: You can send me all the Samoa cookies you got!
