Girl scout cookie time AGAIN.

   It's that time of year once more. I have three daughters. My wife has been actively involved with the girl scouts since they were little. Their grown now but it is the granddaughters turn. My house has gone from being the cookie storage area for 7--10 troops down to just 1. I used to haul all those cookies downstairs to a spare bedroom, but that got old real quick (so did I). Now they go into the garage. The car is pushed forward and buried for the next 3 weeks or so.  Good thing that the weather around her has turned back to winter. Most of January had temps way above average. Most of the month had days over 50* so I was able to sneak the car out for a 100+ mile cruise around the valley. Must have seen over two dozen motorcycles out and about. Almost started to get spring fever.  But the cold came back. We have gotten hit with rain and snow now for the last couple of weeks. Our mountains are just being buried in snow. So having the car blocked in won't be so bad, the granddaughter only had to bribe me with 1 box of tagalongs.

New ones didn't taste as good as Christie

I just bought 2 boxes last night from our neighbor. I like the Thin Mints and my wife got the Tea Foils.-Boxes got smaller and price went up. It is for a great cause thought and the cookies were tasty.

I just saw that a Girl Scout up near the city set up her display near a Cannabis dispensary.

She sold 117 boxes in 2 hours.

    It is the last weekend to buy cookies. What a difference 3 weeks have made here. It is spring time here in Idaho. The high yesterday was 59*. My car was still buried with cookies but not to bad.  Couldn't help myself. Moved all the cookies out of the garage, got the car out, cookies back in and went for a cruise. Kind of a PIA, but worth it.  Headed out to Swan Falls dam, a nice long opened road thru the desert south of Boise. Can really open the car up for a little top end fun. While I was taking a few pictures a county sheriff drove by. Must be the luck of the irish or me and him might of had a talk.         Lots of people out and about. Must have seen over 50 bikers out cruising around. Those guys are pretty hard core.  Today the cookies are pretty much gone. My granddaughter had a goal of selling 2.500 boxes and made it.  Happy St. Patricks day to all. Think I need to go for another little outing.
