This year we are hoping to break the record of the amount of AAR's and T/A's at a reunion. We hit 123 total cars for a prior reunion. So far we have 58 total cars registered for the show. While we have quite a line up of cars for the Y building display the most unique display is all 3 known painted top T/A's will be here on display in the Y building. Also a 15,000 survivor T/A that hasnt been seen in almost 20 years. Under our display tent outside will be a 27,000 FF4 AAR survivor as well as a 2 owner unrestored 70,000 mile EB3 T/A. and one more car under the tent will be the only one known to exist at this time  D21/EB5/EB5/H6XW AAR. Hoping to see quite the turn out and remember your car doesnt have be the nicest and shiniest it could be a driver...or project or a roller. Participation is the key for this reunion after the 50th got hit with covid restrictions. Lets make this one for the books.

I've been telling myself every year since I got my T/A done, that I was going to make the next reunion.
Put some feelers out over the winter about getting someone in the area to join me for the trip there, had a nibble from a member of the area Mopar club, but he bugged out when I tried to nail him down a few months later. I'd say I'll make it in 2030 I swear, but I think at this point I've resigned myself to the fact that Carlisle is always going to be a bridge too far for me to make it.   :pullinghair:
I will look forward to seeing the pictures and videos!

Same here coming from the left coast.
When I am closer to ready, I will look into trailering it. With open of timing it with others to absorb costs.

I'm near Chicago and I did buy a truck and trailer a few years ago. It's a 12-13 hour trek to Carlisle from my home.
So it's not close, but it's doable.  My issues are more in recruiting a copilot, as I just don't want to make that drive solo. I'm not comfortable shoehorning the car in and out of the enclosed without someone guiding me to keep me from scraping a quarter panel or mirror, split a room with and more.
As years go by and getting older, I find it harder and harder to find anyone eager to make roadtrips for things like out of state car shows, fishing trips and other adventures.  There's friends I've had since college I swear that at this point have no interest in venturing more than 5 miles from their houses!
Sad, I feel like now that I have the time and money to do stuff, no one's left to do stuff with!

I met some of our members for the first time last year and immediately felt comfortable talking with them.  Great folks! Leave your car at home and make some new friends at Carlisle.  OR, tell one of your copilot candidates all event attendees are automatically entered into a free raffle for an all expense paid trip to anyplace 10 miles from their home OR maybe the Nevada Bunny Ranch ... whatever works.  8)

avatar_Transamcuda.com @Transamcuda.com    I can't wait!  Hoping for an even better turn out than the 58 cars so far!  One of the best things to view is the AAR's that have very little miles on them.  Glad some will be inside the building.  The tent with the red top always makes for weird pictures with the lighting.

33 hour drive for me.  Well worth the trip.  I do it solo as it's difficult to get anyone to come along for those hot days in Penn.
avatar_JH27N0B @JH27N0B  Sometimes ya just gotta get out there and do it solo.  I would have never done the trip if it were for waiting for a friend.  Honestly, not having a friend is what pushed me to make the trip.  Small insignificant story here , Blue Spruce

Just to mention it to anyone in need I have N5 on the swap field and use it for parts exchange and storage if I can help anyone.  The guys next to me are great too.

For future reference, do they rent mobility scooters there?  I have leg issues and that along with the usual brutal heat are another reason I am wary of making the trip to Carlisle.
Due to circulation issues with my leg, I think 7-8 hours is the limit to how much driving I can do in a day.  Fortunately from where I live, that makes Moparty, Nats and Mopars in the Park doable in that amount of driving.  A friend joined me going to Moparty a few years ago, and having him do a few hours of the drive home while I propped my leg up was a blessing! Splitting driving with someone, doing the 12-13 hours in one day might work but TBD for me.
Last winter someone in my area Mopar club sounded interested in joining me for Carlisle, but checking back with him at the meeting a month or two later, he said hey if you go, I have a list of parts you can search the swap for me!  How about NO!!!!  You can search it yourself to your hearts content, after making the trip with me.
If I hadn't put my hopes in him joining me, I might have talked to a local guy who transports to see if his trailer was open for the trip and how much, then I could have flown out there etc.  Too late now, and family visit ended up getting scheduled that weekend anyway, I would have put a firm not available on that weekend when they were trying to decide which weekend to come, if I'd had plans in place for Carlisle.

This is where you can sign up for a scooter ahead of time. https://scootaround.com/en/rental/booking?rentalType=event

They are located just inside gate 3, which is the main gate for cars entering the show field.

I'll be attending my first Carlisle show with my RED/RED AAR Cuda.  This is only the second time it's been seen in 38 years ! (2024 Mopar Nats. also)  I registered back in January, who decides what cars go in the tent or building and how will I know if mine is one of them?

I for one can not wait to view your car!  That is one of the best ebody combos ever made!  And it's beautiful!
Hope we get to shake hands on the field or at the club tent.

avatar_BZaar @BZaar, the display of TA and AARs for Building Y have already been selected and the owners of those cars have been notified.  Ed Buczeskie is the Event Manager and he has the ultimate say in which cars get selected for the various special displays.  As for the "tent display", Barry Washington and Jeff Bangert is heading that up under the coordination with Ed.  I have no ideal on the method of choosing the cars that will be displayed under the tent.  You would need to reach out to one of those three to get a definitive answer to that question.  Otherwise, I believe that the TAs and AARs will all be positioned as much as possible around the display tent.

Counting the cars in the Y building there were 70 registered cars. Plus however many were in the car corral area.... Real ones not clones.
