The Creek fire in northern cal outside of Yosemite is my major concern at this time. My brother, Chuck, who passed on a couple of years ago lived and raised his family for the past 40 years in Oakhurst, Cal. His family who still lives there are threatened at this time by the uncontrolled Creek Fire. This devastating fire has consumed 163,929 acres a total of 225 sq. miles with 0% containment and is threatening 5,000 structures but has consumed over 300 structures as of now. Because my Bros. family is on the east side of the community of Oakhurst they have been evacuated to a safer area, leaving behind of course their home and life of 40 years. When they are finally allowed to return will there be anything to return to. Along with this something else that compounds the situation is my Wife's only sister Susan, lives there in Oakhurst is also being evacuated and being a single woman was easier to evacuate, no pets to move and has only been in the area for less than 2 years. My wife and I are on a standby call and are ready to leave for no. Cal from SoCal. no matter what the time may be. Prayers are needed please for these people that don't know where they will be going next. Thank you enthusiasts for your prayers and concerns.     Al

Scooter, my prayers and concerns go out to you and your sister my friend. I guess this is our norm with all of the wildfires hitting our state. Many relatives and people will be impacted and touched some how by these disasters. I can imagine how you feel I know how I feel, I'm really bummed but we will endure. Thank you Warren and thank you all for your prayers.     Al

The good news is they are all safe. Everything else can be managed at a later date. Lets hope as many as possible come out unharmed.

Can`t imagine losing everything but the most important thing is they are OK. Hopefully they can figure out some way of keeping these fires from spreading so bad out there, seems to be every few months more wildfires are ravaging Cali.  :dunno:
