I like them! Easier to get in and out of than an ebody but I like the styling of the ebody. This is my Dart

Back in the day, A girl down the road from me had a FJ6 with a 4-speed.  :1place:

I prefer the 70's as well. I like the rally dash, scoops and crisp front and rear styling. They are all nice though.

  me!! I really like the A bodies! Had a really sharp H code 71'340 Demon a few years back. If/when I sell my T/A, I'm gonna look for a 69' Formula S fastback 4 spd - 340 car.

71' GY3 Demon 340

I like them too and the first one was a 67 Valiant 2dr post, 4 spd, 3:91SG 273 followed by a 72 340 4 spd Duster and then a 73 Dart Sport 340 auto. I've been Jonesing for a 68 or 69 Swinger 340 for decades, so I'm really envious of your potential purchase! Good luck!

Heck
I like them.
I just tried to buy a M Code GTS at Mecum but got out bid.
My first car in 1978 when I was 16 years old was a 1969 GTS 383 auto.

I really like the GTS/Swinger 340 4 Speed combo. A great running car.
The prices are starting to creep up pretty fast for these cars.

Here are 2 I owned in the recent past.

Black car was a 383 Auto
Blue car was a 340 Auto

Lots of nice A bodies posted here. Still haven't pulled the trigger yet on the GTS but getting closer. Still waiting for him to find the build sheet. I saw a nice B5 383 GTS sell at Mecum for $ 50.000.00 and the Black 440 car sold for $88,000.00. They are creeping up there. Here are two of the A bodies I owned in the past.

A body's are where it all began. Still affordable but prices are rising.  Two in my current stable;

I saved this car.  An old lady passed away and this was one of her cars.  I got it with no title.  locked.
opened it up, cleaned it up.  sold it to a local guy.  He took it to georgia and got a title.
Now it sports a 440, same color but no stripes.  Original stripe car with fe5 ralley.  This was the first and only mopar I have had that retained it's build sheet.

72 Challenger

Last spring I sold my 1972 Challenger 340 Rallye, Auto for my current ride my 1970 Plymouth Duster 340, 4 speed.

I wanted something different from all the e-bodies I had before. This is a real FC7, Rally, 340, 4 speed, White top, black side and black stripe car. I bought it off the guy who owned it for 43 years. It has 48,000 original miles and the interior is original to the car except for the headliner and front seats. The engine now sports T/A heads and has been bumped up to 416ci but still remains dressed as the original 340. It's an absolute blast to drive. The hood is going as soon as I can find a reputable shop around Ottawa to paint and install an OE hood I have sitting in my garage.

I owe my love of MOPARS to a-bodies. I have an uncle who still has his 1970 Duster that was around when I was a kid.

Someday I will have a J0b.

Here is the last one that I wish I had kept.  1971 Twister (A51), 318 2 BBL, Bench, A/T, Column Shift, 38K Original Miles.  It had been painted once before and they had left the stripes off.  I had body and paint done locally and applied the decal stripes myself.  It still had the edges from the original hood stripes so I was able to place them correctly!

I currently have three A-Bodies listed below
