My project was purchased fully disassembled and from an older gent that did a lot of swap meets as he had a couple different Mopars.  Inevitably, I think I wound up with many duplicates as well as stuff that doesn't go to this 70 RT.  If the codes stamped on them are date codes, I think they are later than 70.  If they're rear bumper brackets, they don't bolt to either the original or the brand new repop.  Any ideas appreciated.

@Rich G. Now that would make sense as there was a 73 Cuda in restoration right next to my 70 Rt.

Pretty sure it's a Charger part.

Off the 73 Cuda I'm working on. I bought this not realizing I already had them. Now I have 2 sets. Who knows maybe chargers are the same.

73 Challengers use a similar bracket as the Cuda.(maybe the same one)  One year only.

I appear to be wrong. Sure look similar to the 68 Charger brackets I worked on last year.

Allot of rear bumper brackets look similar the part number beginning with 3686 is a pretty good indicator of the year 68 vintage parts typically are in the 27XXXXX range... Allot of 70 parts start with 29.. Somehow 71 parts seem to jump up to the 34xxxxx range....

If you do a search of 3686559 this pops up....  1973 CUDA BUMPER GUARD REAR BRACKET OEM DRIVER 3686559 LEFT...  So I'm gonna go out on a limb & suggest it could possibly be for a 73 Cuda.... :lurking:
