MOPAR MITCH

FYI... At the most recent HOLLEY MOPARTY (Bowling Green, KY), there was a claimed 1970 Challenger entered in the Grand Champion competition (autocross racing, drag race, and 3-S)... the car had a carbon fiber radically modified 1970 Challenger body.. laid over a Viper Chassis... and he competed in the Vintage class (~1989 and older cars).  His car also had a supercharged late model Hemi that was set-back nearly through the windshield.   Check out pictures of his car on MOPARTY's 2023 web-site... its purple and black... with about 2" of ground clearance.

I have no idea where he got his carbon fiber body from... stretched, widened, chopped, etc.    And... the car is supposed to be street licensed (and insured?) as a 1970 Challenger.

I would like to know the weight of the fiberglass body.
I had fiberglass fenders,  but by the time I used a factory headlight bucket, the weight was the same as steel.
The fiberglass body would require a full frame, so cool but not necessarily lighter.
