with my cuda.

I am a couple of days late, but this year marks 27 years that I have owned my cuda.

Below is an old polaroid I took the day I brought it home - October 2, 1990.

It had origional paint on the car but was pretty rough. Only needed a couple of small patches in the bottom of each quarter.

I look forward to another 27  years together!! :D

Yep, @anlauto  my Dad painted the car back in 92.  I drove it for one summer the way you see it.

If it were up to me it would have been much much much wilder...the old man had to reign me in.

Cool!

Are you planning to keep the 80's paint job look?

Or do you plan on putting it back to it's stock color?

He has been pressured to keep the cool paint job. I am one of many that love the look of that car. I think we should take a poll.  :Stirring:

Great question!

I am not sure...but I am likely 5 years away from redoing it, so I don't need to decide for a while.

I likely wil not go back to the stock colour, 1, because I do not like the colour, 2, the car is not numbers matching and 3, I do not like the colour.   :lookatthat:

I do like the stock stripe, there is just something about the way it flows.  I could see going back to a single colour with that stripe.

Which ever way I go, I will likely keep it pink.

Here is a better pic of the stock colour..I am not even sure what it is....lost the fender tag years ago.

Also a pic of one of the ideas I have floating around in my head.

Yeah, I do get a few comments about keeping it...but not many.

@blown motor I think you and @Cuda Cody are the only two that would vote yes on a poll.

Yeah, its never been about the money, of course with a 74, its a lower amount, so its easier not to worry about.

Seriously though, I have owned it so long, I am not sure I could ever let it go...there are too many things I want to do with it.

Congrats on 27 happy years!

I vote for picture number one if we are doing a poll.

Maybe it's the picture, but the stock paint seems so....dull.

Happy Anniversary Jas and I think that pic with the purple flames over the pink is kinda neat. I hope you own it for 27 more years, too!
