Been seeing quite a few cars on the news that were burned at the Paradise fire.
Quite a few car enthusiasts up there near Chico.

A GTO, A Tempest, A gasser drag 55 Bel Air, A big Gold C body Newport. Possibly a 1970.

See some of them on this  FB page.

On top of everything else that just puts their loss over-the-top.
Our thoughts are with them all.

This pic has been going around the web. Looks like the firefighters have their priorities right.

Unbelievably devastating for those out there. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved.  :(

These photos are the single best argument for having cars like this in runnable condition! "To Hell with the house and Beemer honey, throw your stuff in the back of the Mustang, we're out of here!" I'd've dragged mine down the road on a rope before I'd leave it there to fry!

What a shame, I can't imagine. Watching it on TV is nothing like the war zone it is in person. I had a couple of close fires when we lived in CA, there's just not a damn thing you can do about it but watch it get closer.

It makes me want to leave my car to where someone to kick the 'Cuda in neutral and push it out if they had to. I'm sure my neighbors would help try to save my car if the house went up..they've watched it go from a pile of parts to hauling the kids to shows.
