That's pretty cool.  I'd agree with 140 lb ton.  That's one incredible animal right there. 
Notice how his left ear continually twitch's.  He's definitely listening to another cat.  I've been in the woods enough with cats that I realize they are not alone 50% of the time. 
  Had that guy decided to flee he would have had problems.  so he did what was correct.  Once the cat realizes that you aren't that exciting they will typically go away.  They don't want anything to do with us.  Unless we look like a big mouse on a bicycle.

  I have some video of a few cats and a buddy of mine has some video of one coming up to about 10 yards from him.  During elk season of course.
