I've always loved the idea of being able to think of something from thin air, design it, and build it. I'm not a great fabricator with wood or metal, so I thought I would try my hand at 3D printing instead. I bought a Creality Ender 3 v2 and it's almost as bad as owning a car with how much I want to tinker and mod it!

First project up is the HF floor jack mount for my trunk. I originally had it in the box, but it took up entirely way too much trunk space, so I mocked up the roller piece first, then the back feet, and then finally the pole mounts.

The roller and wheel chocks have mini spikes printed onto the bottom of them so that they stay put in the carpet. It has worked out great!

The pole mounts worked out really well because I wanted to use an existing hole and save space, so I mounted them to snap in brackets over the rear driver wheel well. It saved a lot of space there

Next up is the phone mount. I bought a suction cup mount for my phone to sit on, but the console is so narrow, there is nowhere to mount the suction cup. I ended up creating a mount piece for the suction cup that hangs over the ledge and mounts to an existing screw hole at the front of the console.

The process was pretty straightforward, but the measurements were a little inexact, so what I did first was print a really flat template just to get an idea of how it would fit, use a sharpie to mark off the screw hole and the overhang, then printed one with the hole and overhang channel cutout, then the final print.

That's one tick toy you've got there! I've always admired people with the ability to literally make things and you've got that covered, nicely! Nice work, all way around.  :bigthumb:
