I need a 71 as mine isn't a 71 as I recall.
Could someone please put this translation into pictures.

Are you asking for a cuda or a challenger? There different

cuda.
My mistake. Should have had that in there.
I guess I didn't realize they were different either.

Are you talking about the head bumping hook, or the latch itself ?

1970-74 Hooks are all the same.
1970 latches are one year only
1971-74 latches are all the same (separate levers are different with 71 being a one year only deal)

I was pretty much referring to all the latching parts.

Did Cuda have an inside the cabin cable pull option?
IIRC the striker is different because of added cable eye.

Pretty much all (if not all) of those components look like what was on my '72 Cuda.

:wrenching:

The only difference is the handle of the lever is on a slightly different angle, but otherwise everything else s the same

And the handle difference is due to the grill on the 71 correct?

I think you're right... the '72 is straighter I believe.  The torsion spring on my original broke (rust) and I had a hell of a time finding a replacement release; plenty of other types available but not that one.  Then finally  :veryexcited:
