All the best wishes I can give you buddy. A speedy recovery and a great new year for you and your family. You will beat this it'll put you down but you'll come back up fighting. I am a survivor of 2 major heart attacks, hit me out of the blue but I'm still standing. The right coronary artery and the left anterior descending which they call the Widow Maker. Positive thoughts to you Dave, positive thoughts.

Update from @Spikedog08

Dave (SpikeDog) messaged me and told me the doctor said it went well.  He will be in the hospital for another week or so then he can go home.  Lots of limitations for the first couple months, but he should be back to normal after 3 months.    :veryexcited:

Well that's great news  ...hopefully he won't get Covid-19 while at the hospital...he hasn't been having the best of luck lately :bricks:   :D

That is great news, the ironic part of getting cancer is it may have saved his life, the heart condition may have gone undetected.....

Think positive and get better...... :fingerscrossed:

My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know what it feels like as I had open heart to repair a bad valve in 2013. 5 1/2 hours on By Pass-ICU for 3 days. I went in on a Monday-operated on that Thursday-came out of ICU on Sunday and sent home on Tuesday. Not sure how old you are. I was 58. Listen to your doctors and pay attention to what they tell you. Not sure if you had to go on By Pass. Going on By Pass is no joke. I had a lot of side effect from the by pass since it only feeds your major arteries. Areas with smaller blood vessels do not get the blood flow they usually get. It was the weakest I ever felt. lost 15 lbs. Of course they had to stop my heart during the surgery which they may not have to do for a blockage.  Took about 3 months to start to feel better-6 months to get out and walk short distances and 1 year before I could exercise again. Don't rush it and take the time to heal. Hopefully your cancer treatment will not interfere with your healing. In case anybody is interested this is what open heart surgery looks like afterwards. They used glue instead of staples to reconnect my chest.

A big thanks to everyone that sent prayers and best wishes.  I am still in the hospital but appears things are going to be OK.  I was able to catch this before any damage was done to my heart so that is the best news I have.  Doctors did what was needed to fix the blockage and restore good flow to the body! I have been struggling with blood pressure issues and those are now gone . . Last couple tests shows my pressure to be perfect!

Now for the cancer . . I have something that I am taking that I believe will deal with that issue as well.  It is called Simpson Oil and I am taking that for that issue.  Certainly check google and see it’s properties  . . If I do this right, should take care of that as well.  Then . .  Back to the MOPARS!
