Yep common around here on dirt road too. They had a big tanker truck with a spray boom. Worked pretty good.

Back in the 80's, there was a big ground hog hole behind my parents house. It was just in the woods beyond the property line.

If anything lived in that hole,  it didn't after I continued to dump used oil down it.
