I remember Galen being at Carlisle years back. He seemed to have the personalty of a wet noodle. Either that, or he wasn't getting paid enough to part his wisdom unto us, so he acted the part.

To reaffirm, I'm not bashing him. I'm glad for what he has done. I'm simply wondering if anyone has had to wait for orders. I can understand if he's busy. I'm sure he has more pressing issues than a book request.

For many, many years there's ALWAYS been "Galen Bashing"....funny thing is...a lot of those people refer to his books all the time, or his information that he compiled when nobody else cared. 90% of the production information now found on the internet came from GG.

There's not one other person that comes to mind that has done more for the Mopar hobby in it's earliest stages than Galen Govier  :worship:,

Somewhat true but not entirely... Others were collecting the info, If you belonged to SIAC you would know that...

And while I'll agree he did do allot that doesn't offset taking peoples money & not delivering the promised services...

And trust me there are worse things in his closet.. Much worse...

I agree 1000% ...that's not acceptable whatsoever...and I'm not making excuses for him....I think for the most part, that has caught up to him....what's he doing these days ? Selling used cars or something ?

Remember when he pulled his head out of the sand on Moparts?

Stuck it back in and was never heard again on a forum.

Something about flushing the rumors... Wound up getting a swirly...

Where's that thread?

RUNCHARGER

It's too bad actually. It comes down to telling the truth, if you tell the customer it is going to be 2 weeks you have to make sure it is 2 weeks. How can you depend on someone to document something when they don't tell the truth?

It does seem that when one Grand Poobah goes away, another one comes along to take his place.  :Thud:

Be careful. Don't get caught drinking the Kool-Aid or believing the hype.

I just called their number and waded through a menu of options, each saying that the leave a message option was not available at this time. I've emailed them also. I guess I'll wait and see what happens.
