Gerald Frost Fire

Some of you know Gerald Frost (CudaKat) and his gorgeous blue '73 Cuda or red 6.1 Hemi '73 Cuda he just finished. Saturday he was working in his outbuilding on his '71 D100 when there was a flash fire and explosion. He sustained burns on his face and hands, but luckily survived. Both of his '73 Cudas, big block engines, and tools and the entire outbuilding burned down. After being a mechanic for 40 years, his retirement plan was to work out out of this building. The fire department estimated the damage to be over $1M. While he has insurance, it won't come close to covering this cost. That is so devastating! I hope his burns aren't serious.

  I've not only had a similar occurrence, resulting in a total loss fire (almost everything I owned), but later I wound up fighting fires like this on a volunteer department. I can feel the pain in these pictures.
