I was 12 year old when my car showed up in the garage. 17 years old and it became mine.

I'm 60.  Now when working under neath the car I make sure I take all the tools I might need the first time.  Getting up and down is a bit more challenging than it once was.        :wrenching:          :tired:

The cool thing is: I was 13 in the fall of 69 and have fond memories of going to the Mopar dealer with Dad and scanning the car magazines with the 70 previews. Almost more fun dreaming about owning the cars as it was to actually own them.

61 and I still haven't grown up yet, only way to live. I find working on cars and doing manual labour keeps you in shape, I know I can do more than a lot of guys in their 30's and 40's.
I'm with you on this. Working on my car and doing the lawn keeps me in shape. I used to change out my own transmissions by myself with only a floor jack and my legs to balance the unit. Did both 727's and 4 speeds this way. Can't do that anymore.
At 65, I am glad I can still work on restoring my car. It is tougher to get out from under the car though! Stay young of mind! :wrenching:

I am 55, but I don't think I look like it!  I know I don't act like it! When I think about Horsepower or Hooters...I revert back
to my late teens! :ohyeah: :ohyeah:  Not being married keeps me young!! LOL

God Bless

66 years young. I still don't know how I got everything done before I retired. I don't seem to be able to get everything done now with all the time in the world. :dunno:
