I am a fan of all American muscle.
Cougars are cool pony cars.
I always liked the hideaway headlights.
My favorite is the 70- reminds me of looking like a baby T-bird!

I may pick one up. They are dirt cheap compared to an E-body. I can get a decent, drivable and painted convt. for less than the price of a core 2-3-4 E-body. It's kind of a no brainer really. I have found quite a few but I am thinking 69 Rag top as well.

IMO the 69-70 body lines are the best & I prefer the 69 grill without the hood splitting the grill.... I guess it's kinda like the 70 Coronet grill, some folks love it, many don't...

However 70 was the first year  for the 351C so that's worth considering....   Though these days stroker small blocks make the 351C pretty much obsolete.....

I like the C motors but the windsors are good too. I think I'll pick one up that just needs a bit of detailing, drive it a year or two and off it. The more I think of it the less I want to do a $60k E-body, knock down, drag out build. Firebirds are another option as well, they are like the Cougar, fairly cheap to buy however there is pretty much everything available for them easily and cheaply.

I get it, thats why I have a Falcon Wagon.... I looked at 63-65 vintage Mopar wagons for a long time & saw a lot of junk with high prices & poor parts availability.....

Then I saw a pretty complete Falcon two door wagon on C/L minus engine & trans.... Cheap.... Perfect for me as I wasn't gonna leave it stock anyway....  Problem is I'm not smart enough to leave it alone, I've been working on a full restomod & I've done more than I ever should have.... Maybe some here can relate......
