So sorry to hear this. Just thinking about facing the day of losing a parent is very depressing. Spend as much time with them as possible while they are still here folks. Like posted earlier, time slips away so fast.

Hey Wade.  So sorry to hear this.  I lost my Mom in April. She was 90.   Dad is still around but in the nursing home.....he is 90 also. They were married 70 years.......There is a vacancy that cannot be filled.  Just remember the good times.........David

Sorry to hear the news Wade.  I read the obituary.  It sounds like he was an active person and led a fulfilling life.  Your parents should be proud for being married for 60 years.  That's a huge accomplishment!

Losing our parents is a tough thing to go through.  I lost both parents a couple of years ago after a lot of suffering from cancer.  Prayers are with you and your family.
